Ingredientes ( 2 personas):

* 400gr Espinacas
* 250 gr Garbanzos
* 3 dientes de ajo
* 1 cucharada de comino
* 1 cucharadita pimentón dulce
* 1 cucharada de vinagre
* 2 rebanadas pan tostado
* Aceite
* Sal

Chickpeas and spinach with “majao”

Surfing on the internet, I found this recipe original from Andalucía, so as I have south blood running through my veins, I got down to work.

Ingredients:

* 400gr spinach
* 250gr chickpeas
* 3 garlic cloves
* 1 tablespoon of cumin
* 1 teaspoon of paprika
* 2 slices of toast bread
* Oil
* Salt

Preparation:

- Boil spinach and chickpeas. (if chickpeas are fresh, we should have left them in water the night before)
- In a pan, sauté whole peeled garlic cloves. Reserve. In the same oil, sauté spinach in low heat.
- Meanwhile, prepare the “majao”. In a bowl, mash: fried garlic, toast bread washed in vinegar, add cumin, paprika and salt. (You can add a bit of water if it’s too thick)
- Add chickpeas to spinach, stir a few minutes and finally add the “majao”. Mix everything together.
